Chicken Feet

Set over a volatile family dinner in a Chinese restaurant, the play begins with the revelation of an affair. As opinions are declared and secrets divulged, the dinner spirals into chaos, bringing long-buried resentments to the forefront. As the family fractures in real time, Chicken Feet examines the painful, often absurd dynamics of a family coming apart.
The play explores two interwoven themes: the experience of older women who have devoted their lives to family, only to find that world taken from them, and the experience of older men who have spent a lifetime concealing their sexuality. Balancing humour with heartbreak, Chicken Feet is outrageous, shocking, and darkly funny—while remaining deeply relatable in its portrayal of love, loyalty, and loss.
